Professor Dr Marc Bonneville

Professor Bonneville, is head of an immuno-oncology research department at INSERM (French Institute for Medical Research) in Nantes.

In 1983 he began work on transplantation immunology, switching to more upstream immunological issues during his postdoctoral training in S. Tonegawa’s laboratory (MIT, Boston) from 1987 to 1989. From 1990 he led a research group working on human cellular immune responses in various physiopathological contexts.

Together with several French and Italian scientists, he co-founded Innate Pharma SAS.

He has authored more than 130 scientific papers and 7 patents and has received several awards and prizes. He has been involved in more than 20 scientific councils and committees and is currently advisor of the INSERM General Director in the field of immunology and biotherapies.

He is closely involved with Innate Pharma and assists in evaluating investment opportunities focusing on immunotherapeutics.
