GlycArt develops a new generation of antibody products with increased efficacy that address unmet clinical needs. It proprietary highly unique technology, GlycoMAb®, enables to engineer antibody glycosylation in a fashion which dramatically and specifically increases antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity. GlycArt is located in Zurich, Switzerland.
As co-lead investor and through its representation in the board, Gilde has been closely involved in the corporate strategy of GlycArt and its trade sale to Roche in 2005.
Gilde received EVCJ’s “ Venture Realization of the Year – Life Science award” in 2005 for the trade of GlycArt to Roche.
